Care Instructions
It is recommended that you clean your Straight Drop awning every three months, or more frequently if you reside in a coastal area. To prevent your heating and cooling system from deteriorating, it is important to promptly remove any dirt, animal droppings, or stains that may accumulate.
Cleaning the aluminum extrusions of your awning can be accomplished using warm soapy water and a soft cloth. If necessary, a mild detergent may be used.
For information on maintaining fabric cleanliness, please consult your retailer and inquire about the specific fabric used in your system. In general, most external fabrics can be cleaned using a low pressure hose and a soft brush. After cleaning, it is important to retract the screen only after the fabric has completely dried.
